NEW ARTHUR BAUCHET PISTE!
8 Paralympic medals (including 3 gold), 16 World Championship medals (including 10 gold) and 16 Crystal Globes: Arthur Bauchet needs no introduction. The skier from Serre Chevalier has done it all on the world Paralympic circuit and deserved to have a piste named after him! This year it’s done: the old black Cabane du Berger piste (from the top of Prorel towards the Chantemerle sector) has just been renamed the Arthur Bauchet piste!

Benjamin Védrines, the world’s fastest climber
Mountaineer Benjamin Védrines from Monêtier-les-Bains is as agile as a chamois.
Take a look at his accomplishments: nominated three times for the Piolets d’Or, records for climbing Broad Peak (8,051 m, in 7 h 28), the Chamonix-Zermatt traverse (14 h 54), the Meije traverse (4 h 38) and the Spaghetti Tour in Italy (18 summits in 9 h 18).
When he was not paragliding, climbing, extreme skiing or on an expedition to Pakistan, the versatile mountaineer in his thirties sat down to answer Altus’ questions.
