The eco-responsible paper?

While digital continues to expand its influence, as the all-digital becomes the norm, we remain faithful to paper. Not only because we know the pleasure of reading a beautiful medium, but also because we are convinced that paper has strong eco-responsible arguments. 

We choose a paper labeled PEFC, to ensure sustainable forest management: trees are planted and replanted so that they guarantee a supply without depleting natural resources.

Our magazine is 100% recyclable: we use acrylic varnish on the cover. Recycling paper reduces waste and consumption of raw materials.
We print in the Alps, in short circuit: in less than two hours drive, our magazines arrive in their distribution site. Our printer incorporates the Imprim’Vert label, for a better respect of the environment.

Our Altus are «guard» magazines: we know that you bring them home and they continue to live for many years in your library, without any CO2 emissions… Unlike emails and data stored in servers: if the Internet were a country, it would be the third world consumer of electricity after China and the United States!

So yes, as long as we live, we pollute, but we do everything to minimize our impact on the environment, while offering you the best reading comfort.

Same area, new dimensions

Twice as fast, more comfortable, and accessible in any season, in less than a year, the Jandri’s new «3S» aircraft will open its cabins to visitors for a reinvented experience of heights. Spotlight on this superlative cable car.
A TECHNOLOGICAL FEAT
After 40 years of good and loyal service, the Jandri Express gondola will soon be replaced by a new generation of ski lifts with exceptional features. “With a flow rate of 3,000 people per hour, the altitude domain will be accessed in 17 minutes. Compared to the 1,700 people per hour, and 40 minutes of ascent of the current Jandri, the difference is significant!” smiles Yann Carrel, director of operations. Thanks to the 3S technology, with its three cables (two carriers and a tractor), adapted to long ranges, the line is free of ten pylons for an aerial experience of the journey. Thus composed of only seven pylons between 1,650 meters and 3,200 meters of altitude, the newline of the Jandri masters its influence on the environment and reduces its visual impact…

SNOWBOARD CROSS IN THE BIG LEAGUES.

After an impressive World Cup season, young snowboarder Léa Casta from Les 2 Alpes is emerging as the future of French Snowboard Cross talent. As early as December, she sprang a surprise on her home turf by taking 3rd place in the opening World Cup race at Les 2 Alpes. Her winter performance was consistently strong, and she capped it off by winning the Junior World Champion title in March. However, Léa’s journey hasn’t been without challenges. Initially, she showed promise as a freestyle snowboarder but faced a significant setback when a training mishap resulted in fractures to her tibia, fibula, ankle, and 3 vertebrae. She returned to competition only to encounter another fall, this time injuring her spleen and kidneys. At just 17 years old, she’s already demonstrated incredible resilience. A 2nd season off – but Léa Casta will be back again in December, at Les 2 Alpes, to defend her Snowboard Cross place among the world’s best. Stay tuned…
