Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, the Extraordinary Story
The cradle of mountaineering, a pioneering destination for mountain tourism, and a site of scientific exploration, the Chamonix-Mont-Blanc Valley boasts a rich and unique history that has shaped its legend.
Building on this heritage, contemporary athletes, artists, and scientists continue to perpetuate the myth.
This “Extraordinary Story,” the theme of the winter communication campaign by the tourist office, is one of the pillars of its brand platform following “Captivating Nature,” developed
in 2023-2024. The final theme, “Chamonix, a Vibrant Capital,” will be explored in 2025-2026.
As a true guiding thread for this campaign focusing on the valley’s stories, a mini-series of several video episodes is being shared on social media and the YouTube channel of the Chamonix-Mont-Blanc Valley Tourist Office. In addition, a comprehensive educational environment is available on a dedicated landing page on chamonix.com and can be explored on the Cham-Stories blog at chamonix.com/blog-chamonix.
